Planting Baskets & Pots

We usually have a variety of pots, planters and baskets made up for you to choose from adding instant colour to your garden.

We have varying sizes of baskets from 10″ – 16″ and have an extensive selection of pots, troughs and planters.

Summer basket plants are best planted in April – July as they need protecting from the frost.

Colour can be added from early March with primulas and pansies which are hardy.

We always have a great range of autumn and winter flowering bedding plants, compact specimen conifers, evergreen shrubs and ivy.

A 10″ hanging basket typically requires 6 trailing plants and 3 uprights for best effect.

Using a multi purpose compost is recommended with some slow release fertiliser and water retaining gel.
